Join Boice Enterprises, Inc. and Cisco for a seminar focused on empowering Women in Technology and industry trends. Some of the topics we will cover include:
- Pressing issues facing women in the IT workforce, including underrepresentation, stereotyping, balancing work and life, and encouraging young professionals
- Discussions from panelists Jana L Godwin, IT Department Chairperson in Computer Networking Administration, Computer Networking Security and Forensics for the Sullivan College of Technology and Design; Shelly Turner, Chief Security Officer for Appriss; Kat Walsh, Region Manager, Datacenter Architecture Team for Cisco Systems, Veena Vadgama, Vice President of Marketing from Network Instruments, Vivdya Ravichandran, President, GlowTouch Technologies, and Carrie Lawless, Chief Security Officer, Appriss.
The event will be emceed by Bethany Williams, an author, advocate for women in business, and the vice president of corporate development at ZirMed Inc. in Dallas. Bethany is also is a TEDx speaker, strategist to fortune 500 companies.
